Training & qualifications

As a trade body ARMA’s role is to vet, monitor and promote its members which are principally businesses engaged in the management of residential long leasehold block of flats and estates. ARMA also sees it has a role to play in providing suitable training for its members’ staff and, where appropriate, for all individuals involved in block management.

As part of its drive to encourage individuals to deliver a quality service ARMA launched the Institute of Residential Property Management in February 2002. The IRPM is dedicated to encouraging the highest personal professional standards and to that end has developed a range of nationally recognised, portable professional qualifications for those involved in residential block management.
